Challenge & Scope Launching successful email campaigns.
An international publisher of science, medicine, and engineering journals needed PruTech’s assistance in order to improve their email delivery rate and open rates, as well as enhance their overall brand reputation. The publisher serves a broad range of disciplines and is dedicated to scientific innovation and the advancement of the research community.
The publisher used bulk campaign tools to send transactional and promotional emails to their global network of researchers and students. However, their delivery rate was critically low, and a lack of best practices led to many emails being marked as spam and subsequently blocked or deleted.
Solution Implementation of Amazon Pinpoint.
In order to accomplish the client’s goals, PruTech recommended and implemented Amazon Pinpoint, a scalable and flexible digital marketing communications service offered by AWS. This service allowed them to automate their email campaigns, schedule triggers for the delivery of emails and text messages via SMS, gain insightful analytics to improve future campaigns, and create automation journeys that would enable both scheduled and non-scheduled delivery of campaigns.
